I’m a life transformation coach and wise elder dedicated to guiding individuals through profound grief recovery and personal development as they turn their lives around.

There are moments in life that split your story into two distinct chapters: before and after. For me, that pivotal moment occurred at age 40 when I lost my wife to leukemia the day after Christmas in 1979. Just days later, I also lost my job of 18 years in the midst of a recession. Overnight, I found myself a widowed father of four with no income and no clear roadmap for the future.

What followed was not a swift recovery but rather a long, deeply human journey—one that involved learning how to grieve, leading with love, discovering strengths I never knew I possessed, and choosing hope once again.

More than two decades later, I authored Always At Choice—a book designed for those who have faced profound loss or trauma and are now asking the hard questions: What now? How do I move forward? How can I find joy in life again?

The answer is a resounding yes, and it starts with recognizing that you are at choice.

Today, I share my story and the lessons I've learned to support others navigating their own transitions—whether that involves grieving a spouse, recovering from job loss, healing from trauma, or simply craving to feel alive after years of merely surviving.
