1. We’re always faced with life choices.
Even the choice of not making a choice is still a choice. I’ve found I’m much more effective when I say “I choose to” versus “I want to,” “I have to,” or “I need to.” When I say “I choose to,” I feel in control and empowered, allowing me to take stronger action from that position.
2. We are all about personal accountability for what we create in our lives.
While we don’t believe we’re responsible for uncontrollable events, like hurricanes, tsunamis, or the loss of a loved one, we do believe we are always at choice regarding how we handle the situation. The difficult part is navigating this transition.
3. Our moods and emotions are predispositions for the actions we take.
We are accountable for creating the moods we choose to live in, recognizing that our emotional state greatly influences our actions. Again, we’re always at choice. Integrating gratitude practices into our lives can foster a positive mood.
4. A Key Choice: Live a life infused with gratitude. Appreciate your “Blessings.”
Learning to live in gratitude and honor our accomplishments significantly enhances our life journey. I often reflect on my “Blessings” — these gifts from nature, like sunshine, rain, flowers, and animals, are things I can easily be grateful for.
5. Creatively capitalize on our natural gifts and talents wherever they lead us (where our values align).
For me, my Life-Time Purpose has unfolded in serving others with my natural gifts and talents. You might enjoy my blog, “Jack of All Trades,” where I explore this idea further.
6. Trust in relationships is critical for success in both personal and business environments.
Understanding how to make and manage promises is vital to create and maintain trust in relationships.
7. Living life with a commitment to service is a significant choice.
It’s crucial for people to feel connected, valued, and appreciated. One of the most effective ways to satisfy this need is to choose a fulfilling purpose and be of service to others.
8. Lifelong learning is essential.
A commitment to lifelong learning keeps us flexible and adaptable, allowing us to respond effectively to the changes we encounter in life, both expected and unexpected. Staying curious is incredibly beneficial.
9. Learn how to “Ask for Help.”
A key lesson in my life journey has been learning how to ask for help in my personal and professional life. I discovered that I don’t need all the answers. In fact, I can move faster and address challenges more effectively with help than without it — if only I can let go of my ego and seek assistance!
10. The business should work for you rather than you working for the business.
I work with individuals, business owners, and entrepreneurs who choose to live fully engaged and fulfilled lives while creating their income.
Now that you have a better understanding of my guiding beliefs and values, I hope you’ll reach out to me to help create a rich, supportive experience for your life journey.
